DIRECTIONS AND TRANSPORTATIONS

Tucson is readily accessible by air via Tucson International Airport or nearby Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix. Either is a reasonable alternative, depending on connections and air fares. Sky Harbor is about two hours from the Lodge and Tucson International is about 35 minutes. Car rental is available at both airports. Ground transportation can be arranged for you through the concierge desk at Ventana (520) 577-1400 (Ext 350).

From Tucson Airport

Tucson Boulevard (exit road) will take you directly to Valencia Road. Turn right on Valencia to Kolb (approximately six miles).Turn left on Kolb Road to Tanque Verde Road (just over seven miles). Turn right on Tanque Verde and take a left onto Sabino Canyon Road (second light). Turn left on Sabino Canyon and drive approximately two miles until you reach Kolb Road again (Sabino Canyon changes names to Kolb Road, just stay straight). Drive North to the traffic signal at the corner of Kolb and Sunrise Road. Go straight through the light at Sunrise and Kolb to Ventana Canyon Drive
(.7 miles) on your right. Check in at the guard gate for directions to the Lodge.

From Sky Harbor

Follow the signs to I-10 East (which actually runs south to Tucson). Proceed on I-10 to the Ina Road interchange (Exit 248), the first exit south of Cortaro Road. Exit at Ina and proceed East (left). Ina Road curves in a southeast direction and its name changes to "Skyline" and then changes again to "Sunrise". Continue driving east on Sunrise to Kolb, which is roughly 14 miles from I-10 and is the first major intersection east of Craycroft. Turn left on Kolb .7 miles to Ventana Canyon Drive on your right. Check in at the guard gate for directions to the Lodge.
